Gosh, what a week this has been. So, I alluded to this before but I had an accepted offer on a lake condo in Ohio. Wellllll, without going in to major detail, it fell through. I had planned on spending on a lot of time in Ohio this summer and now that’s all being pushed back. Anyway, I’m going to look at more properties soon but I’m not going to buy unless everything is perfect.
I’m bummed but it’s all going to be for the best.
Anyway, despite all the craziness, this has overall been a good week. Thanks for checking it out!

Have you had Sea Quench from Dogfish Head? My boss introduced it to me a few years ago and I love it. It’s refreshing, which is so nice when it’s hot outside.

I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries back in the 90s with my (grand)Mama, who was my favorite person. I am SO happy it’s having a renaissance on Netflix. We’re only a few episodes in and I hope those mysteries get solved. Wowsa.

This Week’s Adventures
We spent Fourth of July on Kelley’s Island, which is a gorgeous, quaint island in Lake Erie. We had some drinks, snacked, rented a golf cart and putzed around, drank crappy wine and visited the glacial grooves. It was lovely.
Back in Cleveland, we had a great evening venturing around Lakewood at Lakewood Truck Park (so cool), Barraco, GV Clothing and Lakewood Park.
Hobbies This Week
I finally have a baby tomato!
Scored MAJOR at TJ Maxx in Strongsville. Fun fact, going to a TJ Maxx where people don’t know name brands=major scores. This Vineyard Vines tie for Jim was $10. Whaaatttt.
TopGolf is very fun but man, is that ish expensive.
Other Things to Note
These launched. Don’t know about Arbonne fizz sticks? Imagine this—you’re slogging midday and don’t want to drink more coffee. This is loaded with vitamins and a bit of caffeine to give you a great pick-me-up. I’m obsessed.
The Indians are considering changing their name and I’m pissed. It’s just another example of “cancel culture” and I would encourage anyone defending this decision to do their research as to why the Indians are called what they are. I’m not going to tell you here because I know you can find the answer.
