(In my humble opinion). I found that it’s kind of impossible to find Christmas movies on Netflix (whyyy is it not a genre?!), so lists like this are invaluable. Since I take way too much on during Christmas time, I often turn on a flick as background noise, so I have been many Christmas movies on Netflix and these are my favorites. Enjoy!
1)White Christmas. I mean, let’s be real here, this is not only one of the best Christmas movies on Netflix, or even one of the best movies on Netflix, but one of the best movies of all time. The dancing, the songs, the cheesy storyline? Perfection. If you haven’t seen it, you haven’t fully lived. I’ve already watched it twice this season and will likely watch it several more times when I’m home in Ohio. It’s so great.
2) The Star. I love, love, loooooved this 2017 animated film. It’s about the nativity animals and is so incredibly cute. The dialogue and somewhat adult humor is priceless, so it’s entertaining for adults and kiddos alike.
3) Christmas Inheritance. Cue the cheesy a’la Hallmark storyline. I adored this movie. It is exactly the ending you expect within ten minutes of the movie starting, but it’s still so worth watching. Love.
4) Love, Actually. I remember being in college and some friends found out that I hadn’t seen Love, Actually, and the running joke quickly became “Brittany has never seen Love, Actually,” as if that was the most shocking thing in the world. I have, obviously, since seen it and, even though the bazillion or so story lines are somewhat stupid and often problematic, I still love it.
5) Christmas in the Smokies. See #3
Do you have a Netflix Christmas movie that you love? I feel like they’ve upped the ante this year, and I’m darn happy to see it!
