[wysija_form id=”1″]Top o’ the Mornin, and HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY. This is a very special day in Irish-American culture (do the Irish celebrate as much as we do? I wonder…), and I’m looking forward to celebrating over the next week. The photo above is of my friend, Jo, when we were in Galway last summer.. I thought it was appropriate for today :).
My friend, Siobhan and her cousin host a huge soiree every St. Patty’s Day, and this year is no exception. It’ll be next weekend, though, so I’ll have time to plan. The spread they offer is pretty impressive. It’s every traditional Irish fare you can imagine… Plus they learned to play Irish instruments as kids, so there’s always plenty of live music.. So fun!
While I certainly have precisely zero skill in the Irish cooking realm, I do plan on making some American shamrock-type things.. Here’s what I’m considering.
