I often get accused of being Type A. While this may be true in many aspects of my life, it isn’t true in all of them. I think a truly Type A person would set goals and meet them all. For me, that isn’t always true and that’s OK. I used to beat myself up and that’s just not helpful.
That, friends, is why I’m sharing today’s post. Back in January, I shared my resolutions for 2020. Now that we’re almost in to March (GLORY!), I thought I’d do a little check in. I hope you enjoy! Have a great weekend!
Professional: Exceed Quarterly Sales Goals by 10%
This was ambitious and while I’m still working my toosh off, it doesn’t look like it’ll happen this quarter. I’ll exceed my goals, but not by 10%.
Work Out Less
This has been a major success and I’m seeing a HUGE difference. I’ve been hearing from many a hippy-dippy friend that working out too much can put a strain on your adrenals. I don’t know WTF that means, but I have found that working out less frequently has helped with my sleeping and I’ve surprisingly lost a bit of weight from not working out as much. Riddle me that…
10K Steps
Abysmal. I haven’t even really tried. In fact, I almost never have my Fitbit charged. I do stay pretty active on the day-to-day, though, so I might get 10K steps.
Blog on Tuesdays and Thursdays
So far so good! It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m glad I have this consistency. Two posts a week is perfect for me. Maybe some day I’ll add another, but for now, this works well.
Etsy Shop
So, I got a Cricut for Christmas and I’m afraid of it. It’s out of the box and I made the little example project, but that’s as far as we’ve gotten. If anyone wants to show me how to do this, I wouldn’t say no. Anyway, that’s as far as I’ve gotten also on the Etsy shop..
District Manager in Arbonne
Well, I am not saying I did absolutely nothing, but I did very little. Seriously, how do you MLM ladies juggle it all? Between the 9-5 (which is often a 9-7), a mostly long-distance relationship and social life, I am having a tough time. That isn’t to say I don’t still want to, but it’s going to take some life situations to change a bit.
Devotional
Started strong, not going so hot now. Now that we’re in Lent, though, maybe it’s time to get back in the saddle. I’ll be honest, I’ve been having a tough time with Catholicism lately and that might have had a bit to do with the issue. I know Catholicism does not represent all of Christianity, but I think I need a bit of a break.
DAR Application
Well, I got all the information I need from my mom but haven’t sent it over yet. Will do. Slowly but surely.
