Is it me, or did Monday come way too fast? I usually am a very intentional weekend relaxer, but I feel like I was constantly rushing this weekend.. What’s up with that!?
Saturday some friends and I made the short trek up to Frederick, MD to go to Flying Dog Brewey, which is something I’ve been wanting to try for a while.. What I did not know is that $5 gets you an incredible, in depth tour (complete with samplings throughout the brew making process) AND 5 additional beer samples (very generous.. especially if you do some innocent flirting) AND one of these babies…
$5. Yes, that’s right. $5. That value makes me want to be a loyal Flying Dog drinker forever. My favorites were some of the experimental beers.. They had a cherry one, which was amazing. I’m not usually a fan of fruity beers, but I can just imagine how wonderful it would taste on a hot summer day. A favorite of the group was the Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout. I would never order it again, but am glad I tried it.. Forever favorites include: Snake Dog, Raging Bitch, and Oh Scratch.
